The 8' height is measured at the center of the roof. Because the roof curves down toward the sides, there’s less headroom near the walls, so put taller items in the middle. The end doors are 6' high. That clears most cars and small trailers, but not most full-size vans or lifted pickups. The whole kit weighs 290 lbs in two boxes, so two people can unload it when the freight truck arrives.
