Shed Delivery Information
What happens after you order: from the truck showing up to the shed sitting in your yard
Most structures ship by freight, not by mail truck. Smaller accessories ship standard ground and arrive like any other package. Sheds and larger structures ship via a contracted freight carrier on a pallet or crate, because they're too large for a standard delivery van. Once your order leaves the warehouse, you'll get a tracking notification by email, and the freight carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment before they show up. Every order over $999 ships free.
- Small accessories: standard ground shipping, tracked door-to-door
- Sheds and large structures: freight delivery, scheduled in advance by phone
- Free shipping automatically applied on orders over $999
- You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships
Freight delivery is curbside, not white-glove. A little prep goes a long way. Freight drivers deliver to your driveway or the end of your driveway; they don't carry the structure into your yard or unpack it. Plan on needing an extra set of hands, or a hand truck, to move it the rest of the way. Someone 18 years or older needs to be home to accept and sign for the delivery, because freight carriers won't leave an oversized shipment unattended. Before your scheduled delivery window, make sure the delivery truck can actually reach your property.
- Someone 18+ years must be present to sign for the delivery
- Confirm your driveway or delivery point is clear and accessible for a full-size freight truck
- Flag anything unusual when you order, such as narrow roads, gated entry, steep driveways, or low-hanging wires
- Plan for extra hands to move the structure from the driveway to its final spot
Timelines depend on the structure, not just the distance. Most in-stock accessories arrive within 3 to 7 business days. Sheds and larger structures typically take longer, because they ship by freight and, for some models, direct from the manufacturer. Plan on several weeks rather than several days, and we'll give you a firmer estimate at checkout and again once your order ships. Weather, holidays, and carrier scheduling can occasionally push a delivery window; if that happens, we'll let you know rather than leave you guessing.
A quick check at the door saves a headache later. Before the driver leaves, walk around the crate or pallet and look for visible damage to the packaging. If you spot any, note it on the delivery paperwork and take a few photos before you sign. Doing this makes a damage claim easy instead of painful. Report any issue to our team within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right, whether that's replacement parts or a full replacement. Questions before then?
